Therapy and Child Support Services

At Country Day School, we take a great pride in the success of students in and out of the classroom. In order to see the best results we offer campus integrated therapy and reading programs to enhance the child’s overall experience. Our current programs are as follows:

Speech Language Pathology

Speech-language pathologists are professionals who assess, diagnose, and treat both children and adults who have difficulty with speech, language, social communication, adequate voice and/or fluency skills. At Country Day, our onsite speech-language pathologist works closely with teachers and parents to determine students who may need additional speech/language support to meet academic demands. Our therapist is licensed and credentialed to administer screenings, complete comprehensive assessments, and make therapy recommendations that best meet the needs of each individual student.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists are professionals who assess, diagnose, and treat both children and adults who have difficulty participating in meaningful activities related to daily living. For children, these tasks are often related to self-care, playing, learning, and going to school. At Country Day, our onsite occupational therapists work closely with teachers and parents to determine students who need additional support in certain areas (i.e., fine/gross motor, attention, sensory, social/emotional) to meet academic demands. Our therapists are licensed and credentialed to administer screenings, complete comprehensive assessments, and make therapy recommendations that best meet the needs of each individual student.
