FIELD TRIPS

 WHAT SHOULD MY CAMPER WEAR?

Campers are required to wear CLOSED-TOE SHOES and socks daily. Clothing should be appropriate for indoor/outdoor summer activities. Camp isn't a fashion show...wear comfortable clothing.  Again, closed-toe shoes, such at sneakers, are required.  No sandals/flip-flops or crocs please.  Some camps (like Horse Camp) require special clothing or equipment.  Please see the descriptions on the Camp List for specifics related to that camp.

If your camper becomes ill at camp, we will utilize the contact list you provided upon registration. It is important that you keep your child home if he or she exhibits symptoms of an illness, including a fever of 100 degrees or above. This policy is in the best interest of your child, as well as all of our campers.  Any camper exhibiting these symptoms will be sent home.

Any medications which need to be administered at camp will require a signed permission slip with specific directions. Pinellas County Licensing requires that all medication MUST be handled through the School Office. Do not hand medication to Camp Counselors. A parent or guardian MUST bring in the medication to the office.  Do not leave medication in your child’s lunchbox.
