St. Jude Math-A-Thon
What Is It?
Student's in grades 1-8 at Country Day School are joining thousands of schools around the country to take part in the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Math-A-Thon® program. Math-A-Thon is a free, education-based program program that is designed to complement existing curriculums.

This program accomplishes 3 very important goals.
  • Proceeds benefit children's cancer research
  • Helps students practice their math skills
  • Teaches students the importance of helping others.

Your student will have reviewed a classroom presentation on the program.  Please ask them questions!

What to do: On Friday, January 13th, your student will bring home a packet of information.  Included will be a workbook of math problems (Funbook) and a sponsor sheet.

  • Gather 'sponsors' that will contribute toward the student completing their 'Funbook'!  (Participants that raise a minimum of $35 will receive a t-shirt.)
  • Collect money (cash or checks payable to St. Jude Children's Research)
  • Complete your Funbook.  Set a personal goal on how much you can accomplish!
  • Turn in your sponsor sheet and funds by Friday, January 27
Each classroom/homeroom that gets 100% participation will get a free NUT Day for their group!
