CDS Middle School students will again participate in P.A.L., Private Athletic League of Schools. PAL was created as an instructional, co-ed sports league for small private schools. Its mission is to provide an athletic environment where students can develop skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship while gaining confidence, knowledge, and enjoyment from sports. Coached by Coach Jared and Coach Mike.
REQUIREMENTS
- Cost: $40.00 fee to offset the cost of playing fields, referees and transportation.
- A water fountain is available during practice. You may also send a cold drink with your player or drinks may be purchased from the vending machines ($1.00). Drinks will be supplied for the games.
- Shorts must be black with drawstrings.
- Athletic soccer shoes or rubber turf shoes are suggested.
- Earrings and jewelry including watches must be removed during play.
- Grades/conduct must be kept in good standing to remain eligible for playing sports.
We welcome the support of all the families of Country Day and invite everyone to join us at these games to show your school spirit. The parent's responsibility is to support the team. Your comments should be limited to 'great job' and 'good try' We respectfully request that the coaching be left to the coaches.
Our first soccer game will be Thursday Dec 1 at the Belleair Rec Center in Bellair at 4:15pm
Practice Schedule: All Practices are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (and Thursdays until games begin), 4:15-5:15pm.
Practices begin on Tues, Nov 8. Season ends Feb 2.
