The
Orff Approach is utilized in our music program. Orff is a children’s music instruction method developed in the 1920s and 1930s by German composer Carl Orff . Orff’s method focuses on drawing out the student’s attraction to rhythm and melody. This allows these to develop naturally, leading the child from primitive to more sophisticated expression.
Our sports teams regularly engage in competitive matches against other local schools. Country Day also offers popular winter, spring and summer camps for kids of all ages.Country Day students can be assured of finding the enrichment and sports program that will allow them to become well-rounded students as they enter high school and college.
