The Country Day Kitchen
Country Day strives to offer healthy and delicious meals through our Lunch Program. Student wellness is addressed by concentrating on published nutritional guidelines, along with classroom nutrition education & physical activity.
Menu Items: A main entree is available daily, along with a vegetarian alternative. In addition to the main entree are several salads & sandwichs choices. Due to severe peanut allergies, peanut butter products are not allowed in the classrooms.
We endeavor to meet nutrition guidelines by including a vegetable and a fruit serving along with the entrée. Many entrees are made from scratch, when possible. We do not use any deep fat fried foods and no candy or sweets are served through the Lunch Program. The vegetable serving is fresh when possible, but may involve a prepared frozen vegetable. The fruit serving is always seasonal fresh fruit.
Pizza Day: Every Wednesday we offer cheese and pepperoni pizza by the slice, and/or an individual order of breadsticks. All orders are accompanied by seasonal fresh fruit. Pizza orders must be placed online by 4:45pm on the Tuesday before Pizza Day. Pizza may not be ordered on Wednesday morning, however, ham/turkey sandwiches or salads are available.
Pricing: Quantities are adjusted to reflect the growing appetites of the different age groups, and are priced accordingly.

Refund Policy: Payment must be made at the time your menu is submitted. We regret that we cannot offer refunds when a student is absent. A missed lunch may be picked up at the office or sent home with a sibling. If a lunch is cancelled a day in advance, the missed lunch price is credited to the next month's menu.
Ordering: Lunch may be ordered online by clicking on 'Menu' found under the Lunch Program link (left hand column). Click on the LOGIN button to create your member ID and password.
