Ms. Pam is a long time resident of Pinellas County and has been involved in the local horse community for many years.   She is an experienced riding instructor and trainer, providing basic to advanced horsemanship in English and Western riding.

Pam is originally from Omaha, Nebraska and like most girls, her love for horses started early on. She bought her first horse when she was 16 and they have been a very important part of her life since that time. Pam was fortunate to have been able to ride and learn from some of the top Western and English trainers in Nebraska, and some here in Florida as well!   She was also the assistant manager of a large tack and clothing store in Nebraska, which was another avenue of learning within the equestrian industry.

Pam’s first experience in working with children came when her own daughters started riding.  She found that working with her own girls and their friends, as well as other children at the barn, was something she enjoyed and knew that she wanted to continue. She has been privileged to witness the bond that develops between a child and a gentle, thousand pound animal and hopes to be able to share that experience with the children here at Country Day.
