Admissions and Registration
Country Day is a community of learners which nurtures academic excellence, personal responsibility and individual talents. Admission is based on a combination of objective and subjective criteria in order to determine that each student will benefit from and contribute to the learning environment. All applicants for admission to Country Day School are considered without regard to race, gender, age or national origin.
Application procedure:
- Submit completed Application for Admission forms
- Submit a signed Record Release form (1st through 8th Grade)
- Provide all relevant medical and educational information which relate to school performance.
- Review the Tuition Schedule
- Schedule additional in-house assessments
Upon acceptance, the following must be submitted:
- Copy of birth certificate and current health/immunization record form (HRS 3040)
- Completed Enrollment Agreement form
- Provide the appropriate tuition deposit (non-refundable)
Financial Policies:
Early Withdrawal: Country Day does not require an annual contract. However, if an early withdrawal or dismissal is unavoidable, tuition liabilities will be pro-rated as follows:
- For withdrawals prior to July 1: only the tuition deposit is forfeited.
- For withdrawals from July 1 through December 31: the student’s family will be responsible for tuition through December 31st (based on the selected payment schedule) plus the tuition deposit.
- For withdrawals after January 1: the student's family will be responsible for the full year's tuition (based on the selected payment schedule).
Past Due Accounts::
- Tuition and fee payments are due on the first day of the month corresponding to the selected tuition payment option.
- Any payment not received by July 1 will result in the forfeiture of the student's placement.
- Subsequent late payments will be subject to a late fee as of the 2nd day of the month. The late fee amount will equal the greater of $30.00 or 10% of the outstanding account balance.
- If an account becomes 60 days past due, the parents may be asked to withdraw their child from the school. Parents will be liable for all fees involved with collecting the outstanding debt.
Country Day School reserves the right to withhold report cards/grades and may not forward student’s transcripts. Parents will be liable for tuition calculated by the early withdrawal policy above.
